Writer's Eye

Writer's Eye 2018

Now in its 32nd year, Writer’s Eye is an annual literary competition that challenges writers of all ages to use visual art as inspiration for the creation of original poetry and prose. Each year we select 12 works of art for Writer’s Eye, and interactive tours of the art selections are offered from September through November. Entries are judged by distinguished writers from central Virginia, and winners are honored at an ceremony in the spring, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winning entries are published in the annual Writer's Eye anthology.
