Final Fridays

Join us for the Museum’s most popular, recurring social event: Final Fridays! Enjoy lively conversation with friends, connect with art, listen to music, and snack on tasty food and beverages. Want a quick introduction to one of our exhibitions? Final Fridays feature Spotlight Talks by our student docents at 6:15 and 6:45 pm.

Final Fridays are held on the last Fridays of August, September, October, January, February, March, and April, and are free for Museum members. Student membership is free with a UVA email address through the support of Arts$ program and non-member guests may attend for a fee of $3.

Final Friday at The Fralin Museum of Art

Please join us for a reception at The Fralin. We will have tasty food & drink and as always, amazing art to view! 

Featured in the exhibition sometimes.we.cannot.be.with.our.bodies., will be drag performer and docent, Jasmine Rice, singer and UVA student, Tristen Gulley-Davenport and Poetry for the People, with artist Vanessa German.

Also on view, Pompeii Archive: Photographs by William Wylie and The Print Series in Bruegel’s Netherlands: Dutch and Flemish Works from the Permanent Collection.

Spotlight Talks will be given at 6:15 and 6:45 by student docents Izzy Burke and Frankie Mananzan.

Admission is free for all UVA students and Museum members; $3 for all others.
