Gordon Avenue Library and The Fralin Museum of Art come together in the galleries to inspire and delight children ages 2–5 with an accompanying adult through close-looking of art, fun story time and rhymes, and hands-on art activities. Explore a new theme inspired by our exhibitions during each of our summer sessions!
Pictures & Pages is recommended for children 24 months and up and their accompanying adult. Program activities and art materials may not be suitable for children under the age of 24 months.
Admission: FREE; registration required for artmaking.
Due to limited supplies and seating in our studio classroom, registration is required for the artmaking activity. Registration is not needed for story time. Registration opens 1 month before each session. After sessions fill, new registrants will be added to a waitlist.
